Arrival Saturday. Arrive at Odyssey Hotel, where you are welcomed by your hostess and chef, Katerina Sakelliou, who will introduce you to a selection of Greek dishes you will learn to cook during your stay. Unwind by swimming in the clear blue sea or by going for a walk ahead of savouring your first Greek dinner at Odyssey.
Sunday. After breakfast, head out on a historical walk into Poros. Soak up the atmosphere of the fish market and choose from the range of fresh fish and other ingredients. Relax at one of the local cafes before heading back to Odyssey for lunch. Your first cooking class is in the afternoon, starting with a tour of the kitchen and garden. You’ll later return for an aperitif and start finalising dinner.
Monday. After breakfast you have a free morning to discover the delights of Poros by yourself. There are many options, from a pleasant stroll to going for a swim, to renting a scooter. Lunch will be served at Odyssey and then in the afternoon it’s time for your second cooking class. As you enjoy a local wine, you’ll get started with possibly preparing a nice fish. It can be grilled on the barbecue and served with freshly prepared salads, sauces and roasted vegetables.
Tuesday. After breakfast, visit the stunning Greek island of Hydra, where you will find incredible history, narrow streets, charming shops and no cars (as it’s car free). Dinner is then served back at Odyssey or at a local tavern.
Wednesday. This is a free day for you to relax or explore – it is completely up to you! Lunch and dinner is served at Odyssey for you.
